Meet Dr Florencia Ruiz M.D., our Head Physician at Casa Santa Isabel. Dr. Ruiz leads the Casa Isabel medical team and entered the world of ibogaine treatment through her journey with severe PTSD. Her eyes were opened to the powerful healing properties of iboga, which led her to shift full-time into ibogaine treatment for individuals suffering from troubling addictions like fentanyl and opiates.
Dr. Ruiz received her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, specializing in integrated health. She is board-certified and a life-long student of the ever-evolving healing properties of iboga and how they can be better applied to Casa Santa Isabel patients.
