Meet Dr Diego Castro M.D. , an integral part of our physician team at Casa Santa Isabel. Dr. Castro is a seasoned practitioner treating patients with ibogaine and has emerged as a leading expert in the field. Curious since the beginning of medical school, Dr. Castro understands that while traditional medicine is the base of our medical knowledge, there is room for alternative practices, especially for treatment of alcohol and other addictions. Ibogaine treatment fits in seamlessly.
Dr. Castro completed his medical degree at the University of Guadalajara and later specialized in Internal Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. In conjunction with the administrative team Dr. Castro is a prominent voice on treatment plans and always eager to share relevant learnings on ibogaine treatment.
